How does your organization’s culture measure up?

By institutionalizing your organization’s shared values, you should be able to answer “yes” to the following questions:

  • Does the value system of your organization make it the employer of choice? The supplier/provider of choice?
  • Is your organization’s code of ethics a living, breathing, working document?
  • Does your decision-making process (and the related outcomes) reflect your organization’s core values?
  • Does your organization engage in action planning to narrow the gap between espoused and practiced values?
  • Does your organization honor and celebrate its values in action by sharing success stories?
